Baldev Singh Toor
Baldev Singh is the Managing Director of the company and he is also the founder of PD Damai Jaya Shipping & Trading Sdn Bhd and Toor Maritime Services.
He has more than 30 years of experience in shipping line which he gains himself a good rapport and close relationship with Local Authorities such as Customs; Immigration; Hengyuan Refining Company Bhd (HRC) Terminal; Petron Terminal; Health Departments; Ship Owners; etc. With his vast wealth of experience; he is fully conversant with related products, government regulations, agency rules and the complete flow process of shipping activities.
Pramjeet is the Executive Director and Finance Director of PD Damai Jaya Shipping & Trading Sdn Bhd since 2004 in the early form of entrepreneurship. She is one of the pioneers who first help in developing the company growth, profits and success.
As an Executive Director of the company, her ultimate responsibility is the company’s performance. She demonstrates excellent leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and earn the respect of other staff. She possesses strong time management and organizational skills. She exhibits qualities of a creative thinker, necessary for planning the future development of the business program. She has ability to maintain calm demeanor and think fast in the face of a crisis or dispute.
As a Finance Director, her responsibility for the company is the company’s financial health. She has strong financial acumen, planning and forecasting. Overseeing budgets, and ensuring that day-to-day business performance heads in a positive direction and runs smoothly.
Gurshireendev is the Marketing Director of PD Damai Jaya Shipping & Trading Sdn Bhd since the beginning of year 2019.
As a Marketing Director she sets directions and manages to improve the company’s market position and to achieve financial growth and quality services. She identifies new target customers, pursue them and ultimately convert them into new clients. She initiates sales calls and generates sales reports; interacts and maintain relationship with new and existing clients.
Gurshireendev performs regular visits to qualified prospects and customers, in accordance with Management directives, to drive the business and growth of the company’s revenue and profitability; builds relationships at all levels and represents the company in a professional manner, including making presentations. If need be, she would meet up with clients on project/special matters. She oversees future KPI for revenue, profit, and cost control and quality services. She promptly handles customer(s) and team escalations. She implements corrective actions and preventive measures for immediate service recovery.
Chandran is the Operation Manager of PD Damai Jaya Shipping & Trading Sdn Bhd since 2012. As an Operation Manager he monitors and coordinates arrangement with relevant parties to ensure smooth operations and shipping implementation.
Chandran facilitates the planning and coordination of day to day operation activities. He maintains ongoing communication, correspondence and provides necessary feedback on shipping statuses. He supervises all personnel working at the department. He is responsible for end to end customer engagement and handling of complaints and escalation of issues to superior if necessary.
He ensures the correct job scope for each work order is properly registered to the system. He is responsible to identify custom tariff code, update system on each job work flow, submit job for closing once job completed. He would also ensures all jobs are carried out efficiently through close monitoring and follow-ups with accounts department, customs, loading, haulage and shipper with no errors. He oversees transport arrangements.
Muhammad Ashraf is the Boarding Officer of PD Damai Jaya Shipping & Trading Sdn Bhd since 1 August 2016.
As a Boarding Officer, Ashraf has a broad understanding of documentation process and familiar with Working General Shipping Instruction (GSI). He attends to vessel as instructed for deliver and supply and anchorage.
He is the first point of contact for vessels arriving into the port, as a Boarding Officer he facilitates the smooth entry and departure of the assigned ships, seeing to it they fulfill all the statutory declarations. He has established and maintained a very good relationship with the Ship Captain and Chief Engineer
His role also involves juggling the demands of paperwork and on-site work, and coping with tight work schedules and unanticipated events.

Senior Account Administrator
Siti Norafinawati is the Senior Account Administrator for PD Damai Jaya Shipping & Trading Sdn Bhd since 2nd June 2003.
Fiena reports to the Finance Director and assist in the smooth running of the department. She ensures all the deadlines are met within a fast moving business. She control the handling of EPDA and invoices on a daily basis. She also monitors and review outstanding invoices with prompt resolution.
Fiena is also responsible for processing cheques and controlling all petty cash payments. She ensures all PD Damai Jaya Shipping & Trading Sdn Bhd accounts are received and payable in a timely manner.
VIMLA A/P M.RAGAVEN
Vimla A/P M.Ragaven
Vimla is the Account Administrator for PD Damai Jaya Shipping & Trading Sdn Bhd since 4thAugusr 2008.
Vimla is responsible for reviewing and reconciling accounts, processing payments and maintaining updated records of invoices and receipts. Vimla is also responsible for bookkeeping. She also contacts clients and sends reminders to ensure timely payments.
Vimla assists her senior in monitoring the incomes and expenditures of PD Damai Jaya Shipping & Trading Sdn Bhd. Ensuring the company runs smoothly, Vimla monitors and advices non Accounts staff with regard to compliance with company policies and procedures.
Merishpaljeet is the Assistant Director of the sub company Toor Maritime Services.
He supports the company directors by managing and training employees, developing programs that serve the best interest of the company. He oversees budgets and ensures that day-to-day business runs smoothly.
Merish has a strong leadership qualities and has an excellent organizational skills, as well as the ability to think creatively. He also supervises employee activities and delegates tasks. He ensures the employee’s work schedule are proper. He handles and resolves disputes within the company, in support of the director.
